Hi ladies- please, please, please... keep an eye out for my truck, in the southern and bayshore areas of SF... or whrever else vehicles may be recovered that are stolen from my gentrified whitey-tightie side of Potrero Hill.
I have a "Listing" posted, that describes my baby in detail. This, plus my bike, both in the same year, too goddamn much. The bike I made into my baby myself, whereas the truck, I just paid a hellofalot for, and really don't want to have to continue paying-on if in the hands of some asshole wanker theif monger.
BTW: thanks, Scottie, for posting the Ducutty as the tribe's main-pic. First thing that made me smile after blowing my shit at the not-caring cops who were so inconvenienced from their leisurely afternoon at Farleys, by taking down my report earlier today.
Last night I actually finished my album-dealie of me and Barbara's adventure with the Ducutty, and it should be published by tomorrow.

Re: Stolen Truck- mine, please look for!!!
Tue, January 18, 2005 - 9:17 PMCan you describe your truck? That sucks. I had my car stolen in LA, found in south central, and the cops wouldn't even meet me at the address where the car was reported. They told me I had to call them when I got there. This was 13 years ago and I was 20.. like I'm going to take a cab to south central LA, identify my car and then go wander around to try to find a phone? Anyway, it burns me how indifferent they are. I really hope your truck turns up. If it does, maybe you should wire it to shock anyone who touches it!
Ducutty rocks! -

Re: Stolen Truck- mine, please look for!!!
Wed, January 19, 2005 - 4:22 PMMy next-door neighbor came by to console me with some valium last night... and shared her husband's story of the Richmond police calling at 3:30am, after finding their van parked at the Richmond Bart station.
Their words: "We'll be here for :45 minutes waiting for you to come recover your stolen vehicle. After that, it'll be towed." We're in Potrero Hill, and they're antique-dealers who can't really afford a $200 cab-ride. Somehow though, it did work out for them.
The captain of the Bayshore station came over to my house upon my call to file a complaint with regards to the non-chalant behavior of the cops earlier that day. The captain and accompanying parter were so nice, though fascinating- in that my roomie and I were both perplexed by the captain's gender. Truely, could-not discern- man or woman. A woman's handshake, palm-breadth, face, and shoulder span... and a gruff man's voice and presence. Bulletproof vest on, too... so a chest-topography analysis was moot.
A very positive experience, and hopefully my filed complaint will get at least an astro-turf red-carpet of sorts rolled out for me if/when the truck is recovered.
Truck's description, below. All in the shipyard areas and Richmond, please look out for... TIA!!!!! Thanks too, for the Ducutty props. She's in my livingroom now... and boy, there will be hell to pay if somehow she ends-up stolen, too!!!
• 2002 Ranger 4x4 XLT, auto tranny
• OEM Dark blue/purple, depending on light
• black-plastic honeycomb grill
• chrome bumpers... front one has deer-whistle mounts and fog-lights, rear one was impacted on driver-side
• 2002 hood has 2" progressing up-to about 8" ridge in the middle
• alloy wheels
• OEM tires
• Plastic wheel-well flare-things, with matching beefy bed-rails
• Black OEM bedliner.
• tow-package and off-road package (skid-plates underneath, Blisten 'off-road' shocks, an extra leaf in the springs, and maybe some other small-penis details. My 450lb streetbike really liked it's suspension).
• Whale-tail plates, start with 2Z. I don't feel like getting up to get the number in the livingroom, figuring the plates were likely chucked
by now, anyway.
• Rear tinted windows with middle sliding window
• Lotsa stickers, on rear windows:
- AFM die-cut sticker (really ugly, white sheild with black outline), passenger side corner
- Switch bindings logo die-cut sticker
- 3"x4" cyan-rectangle sticker with UN crest, driver side corner
- BMX sticker on sliding middle window that spells "girls are evil" in red lettering
On bumper:
- SF "X" neighborhood parking permit (yellow)
- "I-heart-rotating-machinery" SRL bumper sticker- white vynil with black lettering
• grey fabric interior
• front bucket seats, rear fold-up jumper seats for tiny adults or kids.
